The General Laborer’s responsibilities include but are not limited to lifting up to 50lbs over 8 hours of continuous repetitive motion. Must have knowledge in reading basic measurements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and arrange work to meet production requirements.
- Pick sort, organize, load, and label wood, ranging in size based on work order form.
- Perform quality checks by using measuring devices such as tape measures and measuring tables.
- Will be using hand and power tools such as air staple, chop saw, and utility guns.
- Cut down/resize wood material Load/unload doors weighing 40 to 50 lbs., placing on
L pallets adding cardboard protectors to the product.
- Palletize and prepare doors for delivery based on the shipping destination.
- Work both individually and as a team member
- Willing and able to cross-train on other aspects of the production process.
- Perform essential housekeeping duties.
- Communicate with management and maintenance, verbally or through work orders, with specific problems that may affect safety, quality, and productivity.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 6 months’ relevant work experience.
