The Information Security Analyst serves as part of the team monitoring & maintaining the layered security capabilities within our infrastructure and application. They should have a passion for systems, networks, and security work. This position will focus on the Security Operations elements of the information security program while assisting with Identity related tasks and system administration.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the execution of the Vulnerability Management program, including:
- Assessment and assignment of noted vulnerabilities
- Coordination of remediation activities
- Status reporting to stakeholders
- Assist in the execution of the Logging and Response function, including:
- Assessment and processing of security events, including operating as Tier 3 personnel for escalated items
- Tuning and optimization of logging and response tools, such as SIEM and EDR
- Assist in execution of the Identify function, including:
- Configuration of integrations across IAM tools
- Inventory and custody of enterprise role matrices
- Act as system administrator for security tools
- Process information security tickets
- Serve as member of the Incident Response Team when required
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- 1 years’ experience in IT Security, Networking or System Administration
- Completion or pursuit of industry certifications, such as Security , CISSP, Azure, desired
