As a Principal AI Product Manager, Technical, in the AI Center of Excellence, you will lead transformative efforts to design and deliver cutting-edge AI/ML solutions addressing complex challenges in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), specifically within Oracle ERP, as well as Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain (FP&SC). This role combines strategic leadership, technical expertise, and business acumen to define and execute a vision that aligns AI innovation with organizational goals, ensuring measurable business value and impact.
A key responsibility of this role would include the ability to understand, inventory, prioritize and define implementation path for AI & ML opportunities within the ERP (Embedded AI which could be Platform Native or Integrated into the platform) or external to the ERP (third party or custom build solutions bringing in data from multiple sources for diverse user base. These opportunities would be identified and managed in partnership teams & leaders across FP&SC.

Job Responsibilities:
Vision, Strategy, and AI/ML Expertise
Own the end-to-end product vision and strategy for AI/ML products or features, ensuring alignment with organizational goals in ERP for Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain (FP&SC).
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business challenges and opportunities that can be addressed using AI/ML solutions within Oracle ERP.
Categorize opportunities best suited to be solved with AI/ML within the ERP or externally.
Lead the implementation of the identified AI/ML features within the Oracle ERP.
Conduct analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to define product success metrics, including model performance, business impact, and ROI.
Leverage a strong understanding of AI/ML technologies (e.g., supervised/unsupervised learning, neural networks, LLMs, RAG pipelines, etc.) to identify opportunities for ERP automation and intelligent process optimization.
AI/ML Product Development and Lifecycle Management
Guide the product development lifecycle with Oracle product leadership, from ERP data exploration and product prototyping to production deployment and ongoing optimization.
Work closely with the implementation team to deploy & manage AI & ML features within Oracle ERP environments.
Develop and prioritize product backlogs with clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical details tailored for AI/ML-driven ERP solutions.
Establish processes to measure and improve the quality, accuracy, and reliability of AI/ML capabilities in ERP production environments.
Impact Measurement and Success Metrics
Define and track metrics that measure the value and impact of AI/ML products within Oracle ERP, including business outcomes, user adoption & retention, and model performance.
Design & conduct experiments, and post-deployment analysis to ensure that ERP-integrated AI/ML solutions meet desired outcomes.
Communicate results and insights to stakeholders, bridging the gap between technical details and business impact.
Customer-Centric Approach
Partner with business teams to understand user needs and translate them into product requirements.
Actively engage with end-users, stakeholders and Oracle teams to gather feedback and refine product features.
Advocate for user-centric design and ensure AI/ML solutions deliver intuitive and impactful user experiences.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Leadership
Act as the primary liaison between technical teams (data & AI engineering, IT, ERP teams) and non-technical stakeholders (finance, procurement, supply chain).
Lead Agile ceremonies for ERP AI/ML projects, ensuring alignment across teams and managing dependencies.
Collaborate with Oracle ERP vendors, external partners, and research organizations as needed to accelerate product development.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. (Required)
Master's Degree/Advanced degrees or equivalent industry experience preferred.
Work Experience
10 years of experience in technical product management, with a focus on AI/ML or data-driven products in Agile environments.
8 years of hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies, including deploying and maintaining production-grade models in enterprise environments.
Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver scalable AI/ML solutions with measurable business impact.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
AI/ML Expertise: Deep understanding of AI/ML Development lifecycle concepts and ERP integration, including LLMs, RAG pipelines, fine-tuning, and AI-driven automation within Oracle ERP.
ERP Product Lifecycle Knowledge: Familiarity with the unique challenges of AI/ML integration in ERP, including Oracle Cloud, ERP data models, and AI-powered workflow automation.
Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of ERP architectures and AI scalability in enterprise environments.
Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing ERP data and insights from the usage of AI feature within ERP.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, work at all leadership levels, manage priorities, and drive execution in complex ERP AI environments.
Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex AI/ML and ERP concepts into business value propositions for diverse audiences.
Preferred Certifications
Oracle Cloud AI & Machine Learning Certification
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
Reforge or similar product management certification & training (highly preferred)
Technical certifications in AI/ML, ERP, or cloud platforms (e.g., Associate Azure AI Engineer, any Databricks or Oracle AI certifications)

Base Pay Range: $139,700 - $252,000 Corporate Bonus Target: 20%
