Job Summary
As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, promoting and selling products, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
- Maintain a tidy sales floor by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise
- Process POS (Point of Sale) transactions efficiently
- Utilize retail math skills to calculate prices, discounts, and taxes
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred
- Proficiency in cash handling and operating a cash register
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Ability to effectively communicate and engage with customers
- Familiarity with grocery store operations is beneficial
- Willingness to learn product details to better assist customers
