We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding products or answering their inquiries
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
- Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately
- Stock shelves and ensure that merchandise is properly displayed
- Assist with inventory management and perform regular stock checks
- Provide product recommendations and upsell additional items to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and problem-solving skills
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Proficient in using Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented setting
- in Spanish is a plus for serving diverse customer needs
- Technical sales knowledge is an advantage
