Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
- Provide knowledgeable product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and engagement.
- Utilize effective upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for transactions and returns.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring products are stocked and displayed correctly.
- Assist in managing inventory levels through regular stock checks and replenishment as needed.
- Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries or concerns over the phone.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Experience in supervising or training new staff is a plus.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in inventory management and sales reporting is beneficial.
- A background in grocery store operations or product demos will be advantageous for this position.
