The Sr Analyst plays a key role in driving data-driven decision-making within the Product Marketing Team at T-Mobile. This role is responsible for analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data to uncover critical insights that inform strategic and operational decisions. Leveraging analytical techniques, business intelligence tools, and data mining methodologies, this candidate will deliver customer-centric recommendations that shape product and marketing strategies. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Strategy teams. Additionally, this role is responsible for designing and developing reporting structures & analytics solutions.

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance. Job Responsibilities:
- Interact with various teams across the T-Mobile to provide product/industry/competitive insights, analysis and recommendations that deliver data-driven, optimized experiences.
- Serve as a key point of contact in providing data and reporting solutions to drive enterprise results, including reports, dashboards, visuals, and self-service environments. Define product feature and campaign success metrics and benchmarks.
- Utilize analytical and modeling capability to enhance decision making across a range of options and present findings and recommendations for prioritization of resources to all levels of the organization.
- Present findings to stakeholders, providing data-driven recommendations to influence marketing strategies.
- Early involvement in enterprise projects to define reporting needs & incorporating those needs into the system design
- Respond and produce additional ad hoc reporting analysis requests and assignments as required.
- Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree in Data analysis, data science, similar quantitative fields or equivalent practical experience (Required)
- 4-7 years of working experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches. ( Required)
- 4-7 years of working experience reporting and analyzing performance & data visualization (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- 4-7 years of experience working with relational databases using SQL and data querying, cleaning, wrangling, working with common relational and non-relational databases in big data environments such as Azure, AWS and Google Cloud. ( Required)
- Experience working with Python or R programming for data analysis and automation ( Preferred)
- Telecom Experience ( Preferred)
- Data Analysis : Exceptional at using wide ranging datasets to deliver broad analysis and insights to maximize value creation and return on investment (Required)
- Problem Solving : Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex business challenges and develop data-driven solutions. (Required)
- Communication : Ability to manage relationships, influence and communicate complicated analysis, logic, and solutions in a clear and concise manner and provide decision support, analysis and recommendations that help to drive effective execution of initiatives. (Required)
- Financial Modelling: Experience with financial modeling, including forecasting, revenue analysis, and cost-benefit assessments to support business decisions (Required)
