Sr. Engineer, Systems Reliability is located in Frisco, TX and will use emerging DevOps automation tools and technologies for CICD and configuration management for non-production environment.
Experience and education requirements:
PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer and Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field, and 3 years of relevant work experience.
ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field, and 5 years of relevant work experience.
Skills requirements: Must have professional experience in the following:
End-to-end test planning and execution, test strategizing and planning, test management, and defect management using Jira, HP ALM, qTest, and Jira Align. Network Provisioning using Ericsson Multiline Activation. Troubleshooting resolving issues in non-production environment using CSL, SQL Database, Kafka, Splunk, and Postman. Configuring and testing Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Salesforce Service Cloud during implementation and enhancement process using Postman and SQL Database. Operating in Agile, CSM, and SAFe environments. Automation implementation using CI/CD pipeline, Selenium, Java, Oracle, and MS SQL.
Requires one-time completion of the following certifications: CSM and SAFe.

Candidate’s pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.

- Research, design, and develop computer and network software.
- Update software and enhance existing software and system capabilities.
- Perform automated server provisioning (VMs).
- Work with engineers to deliver software to improve availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of software services.
- Create, manage, and use dashboards to monitor applications and infrastructure.
- Improve software delivery processes and operations.
- Maintain understanding of building blocks, interactions, dependencies, and tools required to develop software and automation technologies.
- Interact with system engineers to define system requirements for automation.
- Troubleshoot, triage, and resolve issues identified in non-production environment.
- Utilize Agile Methodology for testing and deployment activities.
- Serve as Customer Information domain SME to execute LOEs for test-end environments.
- Lead test strategy, environment strategy, and test execution plan walkthroughs.
