This is a 12-week paid learning experience during which you’ll be able to connect and network with other interns and leaders within the company. What It’s Like

The Technology Labs Intern position is a unique opportunity to get hands-on experience with the latest 5G hardware and software solutions. Candidates will work in the Bellevue Launchpad lab. The Launchpad is 100,000 SQFT lab that T-Mobile uses to validate all of the network products that get deployed in the T-Mobile network.

What You’ll Do

The candidate will work directly with the teams that are testing T-Mobile products before they are launched into the network. Candidates will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting test environments for teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build 5G radio systems for testing new radio hardware, and software features.

Support lab team members by troubleshooting issues with test systems.

Develop procedures and policy for maintaining lab systems.

What It Takes

Education : Pursuing a Degree in Electrical Engineering Preference for studies emphasizing Electromagnetics, Telecommunications or Wireless Systems.

Candidate must be able to work on-site at T-Mobile offices during the internship program.

Minimum Qualifications ​

At least 18 years of age

Legally authorized to work in the United States

Must have graduated within the last 12-months, OR be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program

Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships

Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.

Relocation assistance may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.

Intern wages range from $20 / hour to $40 / hour. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on experience / location.
