Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Associate to join our team in a dynamic grocery store environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a basic understanding of retail math, and the ability to engage with customers effectively. This role involves assisting customers with their shopping needs, managing stock levels, and contributing to a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Communicate product information and promotions effectively to enhance customer experience.
• Utilize POS systems for processing transactions accurately.
• Maintain stock levels on the sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed and accessible.
• Perform basic math calculations for inventory management and sales transactions.
• Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products to customers.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about new items or promotions.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the store environment.
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries over the phone.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• A willingness to learn about products and services offered in the store.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
