Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Foreman to oversee our service and commercial plumbing projects in Charleston, SC. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on plumbing experience, including leadership experience in managing service and commercial plumbing teams. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising plumbing crews, ensuring high-quality installations and repairs, adhering to safety standards, and ensuring the timely completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of plumbing crews on commercial service projects to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Oversee plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance in commercial buildings, office spaces, and other non-residential properties.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior plumbing staff, ensuring they follow best practices and meet company standards.
- Review and interpret plumbing blueprints, schematics, and building plans to ensure accurate and efficient installations.
- Ensure all plumbing work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.
- Address and resolve any plumbing-related issues that arise on the job site.
- Promote and enforce safety protocols on all job sites, ensuring that the crew works in a safe and organized manner.
- Track project progress, report issues, and provide updates to management as needed.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and effective communication.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on plumbing experience.
- Extensive knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, codes, and regulations.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and mentor a team effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret plumbing blueprints, technical drawings, and building plans.
- Proficient in using various plumbing tools, technologies, and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, team members, and contractors.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
