Description
Provides customers with fast and friendly service while ensuring accuracy at the sales counter.
Requirements
Essential Functions
- Load merchandise for customers
- Move, handle, and transport products, materials, or supplies
- Operate tools and equipment safely
- Maintain inventory records
- Perform general stocking duties
- Perform general cleaning duties
- Comply with Loss Prevention guidelines
- Help and assist customers in finding merchandise and providing information
- Greet and talk politely with customers
- Comply with supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits, and attitude
- Function as a team member and get along with others
- Adhere to daily work schedule
- Work weekends, any shift, holidays, and overtime as needed
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned

Physical requirements
- Grasping, bending, twisting, squatting,
- Move, lift (minimum height of 4' on a regular basis), and carry a minimum of 110lbs
- Walk, stand, climb ladders, be on feet the entire shift
- Push/pull a loaded pallet with a manual pallet jack
- Push/pull a loaded stock cart
- Operate heavy equipment; Forklifts, and Tractor (will train)
- Work in weather extremes
- Work around hay, dust, coal, propane, other outdoor plant pollens, etc.
- Work around animals; sheep, etc.
- Work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Education and Experience
A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in operating forklifts, tractors, and heavy equipment preferred
Previous industry experience preferred
Age requirement
Minimum age 18
