Tailwaggers Pet Food and Supplies is locally and independently owned since 2003. We are your friendly neighborhood pet supply store. Our motto is Holistic, Healthy, Happy.
We are pleased to have 3 retail locations in Los Angeles, and we are looking for experienced retail, sales, and pet enthusiasts to join our amazing team!
Pay rate : Starting at $18 an hour (depending on experience )

We're looking for candidates who love, care for, or have worked with pets in the past, as we see dozens (sometimes hundreds!) of dogs and cats every day in our shops. Past pet-industry experience is not required, but it's always a plus!
A position at Tailwaggers is not your normal retail job. Each guest who walks in our doors gets a catered, one-on-one experience as we help them achieve solutions their pet-related needs and wants.
Customers excitedly come to Tailwaggers as their first and foremost location for pet food and groceries, supplements and vitamins, grooming, and play needs! (and so much more!)
We expect our team, through our ongoing training and learning tools, to be excited about becoming knowledgeable in pet health and our guests' ongoing satisfaction.
Ideal Candidates will :
- Have previous experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system
- Have previous retail or sales experience
- Be eager to learn about and promote healthy pet-living by training in our great products
- Have open work availability
- Enjoy working with and getting to know people and their pets
- Be able to perform professionally under pressure, both in person and on the phone
