Role Overview
In support of the Investment Specialist Group, the senior presentation designer will interact and collaborate directly with investment professionals (CIOs, Portfolio Managers, Portfolio Specialists, Analysts) across asset classes to design PowerPoint presentations that articulate our firm, products, and investment thought leadership in a compelling way. They will apply creative problem-solving and execute solutions using strong design skills in a manner consistent with brand standards and internal processes to support client needs and business objectives.
Job Summary
Leads projects under the direction of a senior colleague or manager. Develops creative design concepts and plans which engage clients and differentiate solutions in alignment with customer strategic objectives. Assignments are primarily PowerPoint presentations but may also include other creative deliverables for external and internal client engagements. Partners with Investments and other staff who contribute the written content, presentation direction, and do final reviews. Provides training and guidance to less experienced professionals, checking work accuracy.
Responsibilities
Development of presentation materials :
- Responsible for interacting directly with investment professionals across the firm to scope, develop, and execute presentation concepts that are clear and compelling for audiences. The designer must be able to apply creative problem-solving and bring a strong design aesthetic and information design lens to each presentation challenge—making sure to enhance the audiences' understanding and their ability to apply the message. Their solutions must be relevant, innovative, clear, and consistent with brand guidelines.
- Applies advanced knowledge to develop creative solutions to project goals and identify effective strategies for designs across multiple design mediums. Reviews creative designs produced by less experienced professionals, providing task guidance and checking for accuracy.
- Applies style guidelines and promotes internal standards to less experienced staff to drive consistency, brand alignment, and design integrity. Scans for and identifies situations where there is an inconsistent visual experience and works with peers to align the various mediums (print, Web, and interactive) under guidance from more senior colleagues. May partner with colleagues to test solutions.
- Applies comprehensive industry experience and knowledge of market environment and competitor activities. Facilitates creative meeting project kickoffs and brainstorming sessions; develops and recommends an appropriate conceptual design in support of project goals.
- Responsible for the presentation and explanation of their creative solutions to business partners, and for modifying solutions based on feedback throughout this collaborative and iterative process. A foundational understanding of financial terms and concepts is needed in order to add value with client partners and be able to self-manage deadlines and priorities independently.

Base salary ranges :
103,500.00 - $177,000.00 for the location of : California, New York
91,000.00 - $155,500.00 for the location of : Washington, D.C.
83,000.00 - $141,000.00 for the location of : Colorado, Maryland, Washington and all other US locations.
Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual's relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
