Career Opportunity
We are looking for candidates to fill a SharePoint Developer position located at our corporate office in Chesapeake, VA. This position offers a hybrid remote work schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Function as the SharePoint subject matter expert for the company.
- Lead small projects, using agile methods, to design and develop custom SharePoint solutions (including use of SharePoint Framework.
- Establish and implement a SharePoint intranet architecture.
- Use PowerBI to build dashboards.
- Use PowerApps to build custom interfaces.
- Use PowerAutomate to improve process efficiency and compliance.
- Create and customize lists and document libraries.
- Create communication sites to share internal company news.
- Supports branch/remote office locations.
- Document role-based or platform-specific Standard Operating Procedures.
- Provide end-user demonstrations and training for the use of custom SharePoint or MS Power Platform solutions.
Travel
- This position includes a moderate level of travel.
Education, Knowledge, Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Five years of relevant experience. A related advanced degree may offset experience requirements.
- Experience designing and implementing SharePoint solutions.
- Experience using the MS Power Platform to customize solutions.
- Experience operating in a cloud environment.
- Experience with government contracting/federal government desired.

Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret security clearance is highly desired; however, candidates eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance will be considered. The selected candidate will receive a contingent offer if they do not hold an active clearance. A start date will be established once an interim Secret clearance is granted.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must maintain the capability to communicate with their supervisor or manager when not in the office.
Physical Requirements
- Sitting for long periods, standing, walking, crouching, and kneeling.
- Reaching, handling, and using equipment, keyboards, and mobile devices.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 20 lbs.
