What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aircraft Servicer position at T Square Logistics Services Corporation?
The Aircraft Servicer is responsible for Transient Alert assistance and management in support of the Transient Alert Aircraft Services program at Robins AFB. Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Arrival services including:
- Receive arrival information and coordinate the parking location assigned with AMOPS
- Prepare the parking area prior to arrival to include setting up support equipment and ensure the removal of all foreign objects
- Provide Follow-Me service from the arrival taxiway to the parking spot. The aircraft will be marshaled onto the parking spot, chocked, grounded, and landing gear pins installed as required by specific aircraft instructions
- Connect required Ground Support Equipment (GSE) coordinated with the aircrew. Aircraft egress/explosive safety pins will be installed by the aircrew prior to deplaning
- Debrief aircrew for required service and support requirements
- Ensure all pitot, engine and protective covers are installed for Remain Over Night (RON) aircraft
Processing services including:
- Service aircraft as required in accordance with applicable instructions to include fuels, oil, oxygen, nitrogen, and hydraulic fluids.
- Perform applicable aircraft inspections in accordance with applicable instruction.
- Document aircraft forms in accordance with applicable instruction. 1.4.4. Perform minor maintenance required prior to aircraft departure as required in accordance with applicable aircraft instructions.
- Perform other ground handling activities such as towing and mooring as required during the time the aircraft is on the ground.
- Service lavatory cart following transient aircraft usage (averages 15 aircraft per year
Departure services including:
- Meet aircrew at the aircraft prior to commencement of departure activities. At this time an informal briefing shall take place to ensure required processing services have taken place.
- Ensure all pitot covers, engine covers, ground wires, ground safety pins, wheel chocks, and any other support equipment is removed prior to departure. Aircraft egress/explosive safety pins will be removed in coordination with the aircrew.
- Assist the aircrew with preflight and engine start activities prior to marshaling the aircraft from the parking spot.
- Ensure all support equipment is returned to its proper location after aircraft departure.
- Ensure the removal of all foreign objects from the parking spot.
Provide other required aircraft arrival, processing, and departure services
Provide support for In-Flight Emergencies (IFE) and transient ground emergencies
Perform other duties as may be assigned by supervisor
Education/Experience Requirements:
- FAA Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) license, or five years of Transient Alert experience, or proof of Civil Service/Military training and experience on DoD aircraft at the Journeyman level
Security Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Secret security clearance
