The Auto Body Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing various tools and techniques to complete repairs efficiently.

Duties

• Assess vehicle damage and determine necessary repairs.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment to perform bodywork, including welding and fabrication.
• Repair or replace damaged parts, such as panels, bumpers, and frames.
• Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure adherence to industry standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools and automotive repair equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude with experience in automotive repair or related fields.
• Welding skills for metal repairs and fabrication tasks.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs.
• Experience with soldering techniques for electrical components.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to fabricate parts as needed.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
• Previous experience working in a dealership setting is a plus.

Pay: $15.50 - $19.39 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed
