Concrete Finisher

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, including the ability to read blueprints and perform various finishing techniques. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality, ensuring that all concrete surfaces are finished to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and follow blueprints and project specifications to determine the layout and finishing requirements of concrete surfaces.
• Prepare and set up forms for pouring concrete, ensuring they are level and secure.
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete using various tools, including concrete mixers and power tools.
• Finish surfaces of poured concrete using hand tools or power tools to achieve the desired texture and appearance.
• Inspect finished work for quality assurance, making adjustments as necessary to meet project specifications.
• Collaborate with other construction team members on-site to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding construction plans.
• Familiarity with metal stud framing and concrete forming techniques is preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment and tools is essential.
• Experience with commercial driving may be beneficial for transporting materials on-site.
• Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively, including concrete mixers.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions on construction sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
