Job Position: Credentialing Coordinator
Location: Redlands, CA 92373
Pay Rate: $21.00/hr.
The T & T Credentialing Coordinator will organize and maintain all aspects of the applicant credentialing, compliance and onboarding process to ensure a healthy pipeline of qualified associates are available on an ongoing basis.
Duties:
- Assists the team with answering phones, greeting applicants, associates and visitors.
- Provides a smooth onboarding process for associates, which includes: E-Verify, send onboarding documents, greet and set up applicants on computer, I-9 & W-4, WOTC, additional onboarding documents as assigned.
- Collects timesheets from employees on a weekly basis, ensuring all submitted timesheets are complete.
- Proactively follows up with employees and/or customers to resolve any issues with timesheet submissions and address any discrepancies.
- Responsible for associate credentialing and compliance process and follow-up, including: follows up with associates to gather all necessary certification and compliance, tracks and documents certifications, license, tb test, physical, etc., tracks and documents compliance – background checks, drug screens, verifies licenses, assists Associates to schedule tb tests, physicals, etc., updates all compliance and credentials as they expire.
- Provides list of Applicant/Available to Recruiters daily.
- Maintains applicant tracking systems, including but not limited to system and ShiftWise: enters available associates in VMS, scans VMS for new postings, matches Associates in VMS, enters filled VMS orders in system, updates compliance documents in all applicants tracking systems.
- Sources for new candidates: calls New Applicants in system on a daily basis and sends welcome emails, sets interviews from job posting resumes.
- Keeps the system associate data base updated and associate searches accurate.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining associate files: assembles new hire files, monitors files for expired compliance and reaches out to update documents.
- Fills job orders as needed.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Skills:
- Medical terminology
- Outstanding communication skills; verbal and written
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
- Typing 45wpm
- Excellent spelling, grammar and ability to write emails
- Comfortable with Microsoft office suite, including word, excel and outlook
- Familiar with Applicant Tracking Systems
- Familiar with VMS - ShiftWise preferred
- Strong sense of urgency
- Goal oriented
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy atmosphere
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years' recruiting experience in the healthcare industry
- 4-year college degree preferred
