The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of billing rules and regulations governing Medicare, Medi-Cal, Medi-Cal Managed Care, and CCS programs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Billing and Collections Functions
- Maintain Knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal, and Medi-Cal Managed Care Rules
- Obtain Necessary Information for Claim Submissions
- Resolve Patient and Third-Party Payer Inquiries
- Analyze and Resolve Medicare and Medi-Cal Account Issues
- Process Credits and Adjustments within Timelines Required by Government Entities
- Perform Additional Duties as Needed
