What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Professor (N-T Trk Clin), Internal Medicine-Cardiovascular Medicine position at T Trk Clin), Internal Medicine-Cardiovascular Medicine - UTMB Health Careers?
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- You will perform interventional procedures at both the Galveston and Clear Lake Campuses.
- You will have 4 to 5 outpatient clinics per week at either the Galveston or Clear Lake Campus
and 4 to 5 weekly sessions in one of the cath labs. You will also participate in the Interventional - Consult Service on the Galveston, League City, and Clear Lake campuses for approximately 12
weeks per year. - Additionally, you will participate in STEMI calls.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- MD degree or equivalent, Board certified or eligible in ABIM Cardiovascular Diseases. Must have completed an ACGME-accredited internal
- medicine residency and cariology fellowship. Possess or eligible for full medical license in the State of Texas
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of ACGME-accredited interventional cardiology fellowship
- Board certified in American Board of Internal Medicine, Interventional Cardiology
