SUMMARY:
Process incoming product samples for testing, collaborate with Production Coordinator and Laboratory Technicians to ensure samples are documented according to internal procedures and expectations.

SUMMARY:
Process incoming product samples for testing, collaborate with Production Coordinator and Laboratory Technicians to ensure samples are documented according to internal procedures and expectations.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive and open packages.
- Confirm that the customer is in our system, otherwise alert the Production Coordinator
- Confirm samples received match samples expected, notify Production Coordinator if samples are missing.
- Notify proper personnel if unexpected or other materials / product were received.
- Document damaged samples with photographs and submit to the Production Coordinator
- Photograph samples as required for production.
- Create the project file and upload sample photos using the IAN, SKU, or style number.
- Create the project in ComPASS
- Upload all documentation and internal files in ComPASS including, if required, test application.
- Provide samples to the lab technicians to develop quotes.
- Ship out packages as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skill, & Abilities
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to work under pressure, carry out urgent requests, and meet deadlines.
- Must be articulate, professional, and customer service oriented.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with technical and non-technical staff.
- Minimum high school Diploma or equivalent.
- No previous experience is required.
- Interpersonal skills to influence action and meet deliverables.
- Office and laboratory environments
- Work may include standing or sitting for long periods of time
- Lifting associated with shipping and receiving, up to 50 lbs
- Manual efforts may be required to process some samples
