Tasks/Aufgaben
Primary Objectives:
The Account Engineer s objective is to ensure client expectations are being met and to identify and communicate all potential account growth opportunities to the Account Manager.
Client satisfaction and retention.
Timely delivery of full program with high quality.
Assurance of an optimal balance between client satisfaction and account profitability.
Adding value to client s loss prevention engineering program.
Account Growth: Promoting expansion of program and additional service sales when opportunities are identified.
To be a trusted advisor to the client.
Responsibilities/Requirements:
Maintain client relationships at an optimal level.
Keep familiar with the account and add value.
If required, assemble and lead an Account Team.
Develop and Keep Up to Date Account Servicing Instructions and Field Engineering templates.
Manage workloads.
Quality Control and ensuring technical accuracy of products.
Monitor Account Summary Reports (ASRs).
Use GRC Connect Database.
Support/handle Client Presentations as required. Prepare stewardship/market reports/presentations.
Project and consulting support.
Oversee preparation of documents needed to set up new and renewing business.
Track time and expenses
Delegate efficiently to support staff.
Qualifications/Qualifikationen
Requirements:
Solid experience in Fire and Associated Perils Loss Prevention Engineering. AND
Former experience in Account Engineering (Loss Prevention) for clients of diverse industries.
Located in United States of America.
Willing to travel as required for client meetings and/or field inspections.
Other desirable skills (not limiting): Experience desirable (field and/or account management) in industries such as (either OR or AND): Metalworking/heavy industry, Pulp and paper, Power Generation, Mining, Food/Beverage and grains.
Functional Requirements:
Review reports, Fire Data Spreadsheets, and other documents and provide feedback as appropriate.
Address Advisory Impairments as they are reported and update the Impairment Database
Respond to client inquiries.
Review workloads, projects, report status and unassigned work
Address outstanding Advisory Impairments and update the Impairment Database
Dashboard report for each account to the Service Leader and Engineering Manager
Review database for integrity
Account Activity Summary Report for each account to the Service Leader
Review GRIDS to check for errors and time / expense deviations.
Time & Expense Report for each account to the Service Leader
Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Ability to write clear and concise instructions
Ability to instruct and delegate to support staff.
Recognized technical expertise.
Computer literate
Education:
College Engineering Degree or equivalent experience
