Our Construction Management team is seeking a Senior Construction Engineer / Inspector for work on various transportation projects. This position will require extensive knowledge of Bridge, Roads & Highway construction inspection. The position will be on-site in the field office and involves monitoring field investigations, verifying and documenting the contractors finding and promptly and regularly reporting the information to the Resident Engineer. This position will be based out of our office in Phoenix, AZ and will be expected to work in various areas throughout Arizona.
Responsibilities :
- Complete daily inspection reports.
- Confirm traffic control complies with City Standards.
- Assure general compliance with standards and specifications.
- Assure documentation, and accuracy of daily findings.
- Daily documention of contractor manpower and equipment.
- Read and understand contract documents, including plans and specifications.
- Provide technical assistance to other Inspectors and Resident Engineers.
- Abide by and enforce construction safety rules and regulations.
- Other duties as needed.
