Required Education and Experience:
BS with 4 years, MS with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year in Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry, Protein Chemistry, or Microbiology.
Experience in vaccine/biopharmaceuticals R&D, process development, or biological manufacturing.
Required Skills:
Cell culture and aseptic techniques.
Virology expertise.
Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in multidisciplinary and international teams.
Preferred Skills:
Bioprocess scale-up and vaccine manufacturing experience.
Working knowledge of USDA regulations.
Knowledge of GMP requirements for biological product manufacturing.
Statistical analysis experience for process monitoring.
Project management and technical documentation skills.
Responsibilities:
Develop and scale up microbial, virus, and cell cultivation processes.
Transfer vaccine and biological manufacturing technologies to production lines.
Conduct technical investigations, validation, and process improvements.
Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams.
Execute bioreactor operations, purification techniques, and final formulation steps.
Develop and manage project timelines, risk assessments, and documentation.
Provide technical support for regulatory compliance and process validation.
Contribute to global and cross-functional projects.
Note: This role is 100% onsite and may require off-shift work as needed.
