DevSecOps Lead

Summary
T2S Solutions (T2S) is currently seeking to hire a highly skilled DevSecOps Lead to design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance software solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker who can contribute to architectural decisions, implement automation frameworks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• DevSecOps: Responsible for development, functional, performance, and security testing of the DevSecOps pipeline to support iterative release, software updates, releases, or patches
• Ability to create a DevSecOps environment with the integration of security practices at every phase of the software development lifecycle utilizing industry best practices
• Automation Implementation: Develop and integrate automation frameworks for CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment and testing
• Design and Architect Software Solutions: Implement the design of complex software systems, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and maintainability
• Documentation and Technical Specifications: Create technical documentation including system architecture, API specifications, and design documents to ensure seamless collaboration
• Feature Roadmap Development: Work with product management to define and refine a long-term feature roadmap aligned with business goals and user needs
• Integration Planning: Design integration strategies for seamless connections with external systems, ensuring data consistency and secure communication
• UI/UX Collaboration: Partner with UI/UX teams to provide technical insights and ensure intuitive, responsive, and accessible user interfaces
• Technology Demonstrations: Implement and present new technologies or system features to stakeholders, demonstrating how they enhance user experience and system performance
• Code Quality and Best Practices: Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and design principles to maintain high-quality, maintainable code
• Mentorship and Leadership: Guide and mentor junior developers, fostering collaboration and professional growth within the team
• Risk Management and Mitigation: Identify potential technical risks early and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in an IT-related field with a focus in Cyber Security and minimum of five years experience with accreditation, compliance, certification, and auditing of information systems within secured DoD environments
• TS/SCI required
• Proficiency in modern web development practices and languages
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, K8s, and OpenShift
• Experience with software architecture, design patterns, and scalable system development
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and automation frameworks
• Familiarity with API design, integration, and secure communication protocols
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of UI/UX principles and front-end development best practices
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Experience mentoring or leading a team of developers
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes), Agile/Scrum methodologies, and microservices architecture
• Preferred certifications in CISSP, CASP, CCNA
• Preferred training in CDSE Risk Management Framework Training
