What are the responsibilities and job description for the PRODUCTION MANAGER position at T3 Manufacturing, Inc?
Scope and Purpose:
Primarily responsible for hands on management, and coordination of all production plant operations across all shifts. This includes the safety of all team members, lean initiatives, manufacture of products, coordination of maintenance to ensure general smooth operations, and improve the facility performance in Safety, Cost of Quality, On Time Delivery, Margin and Productivity while promoting people development and T3’s cultural behaviors.
Essential Duties and Responsibility:
Production planning based on customer demand, inventory targets for all areas of production.
Direct and coordinate the activities of all employees engaged in production or processing of goods.
Responsible for hiring process and ensure proper procedures are followed in training employees.
Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Handle corrective action and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Responsible for execution of all work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals and associated costs.
Drive continuous improvement and sustainability.
Responsible to coordinate all production operations and activities and/or to resolve issues within department or between departments.
Develop and maintain production KPIs utilizing team members for continuous improvement.
Responsible for all production areas and shifts, ensuring company resources are utilized effectively to meet production targets.
Responsible for data integrity in production ERP system.
Primary interface with OSHA and other safety/regulatory agencies.
Maintain ISO Standards and work jointly with Quality Engineer.
Costing for quoting on projects to support sales team, as needed.
Technical support for sales team with customer meetings as required.
Establish, monitor, and oversee Preventative Maintenance of all equipment and interface with vendors as necessary.
Interact with suppliers as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.

Preferred and Required Qualifications:
Education: College degree and/or equivalent work experience
Experience and/or Training: Prior rotational molding experience preferred; 2-5 years Production Manager experience.
Technology/Computer Equipment: Ability to utilize computer platforms to access work instructions and other necessary production information.
Dedicated work ethic.
Physical and Mental Demands:
This position may climb stairs throughout the day.
20 to 40 lbs. occasional lifting.
Prolonged periods of standing and walking through the factory.
Computer work at a desk periodically.
Visual acuity to inspect products and machinery.
Ability to comprehend complex situations and problem solve complex issues.
Always presents self in a calm professional manner.
Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
Ability to in non-climate-controlled area.

Work Environment:
The main working environment for this position is a standard manufacturing plant environment.
The plant environment is non-climate controlled and will include exposure to heat and hot surfaces, cold, noise and odors. Personal protective equipment is required in appropriate areas. There may also be intermittent exposure to fumes, moving mechanical parts and tool vibration.
