We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team in the Savannah, GA area. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, compact construction, and material handling equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair compact construction equipment (lift equipment, mini excavators, dozers, compact loaders, forklifts).
- Perform routine maintenance on customer equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and advancements in technology.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines.
- Ability to travel locally and be home every night.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting/repair skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and clear driving record.
