Sales Manager – On Highway Service
This position is responsible for managing On-Highway Service Sales activities. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to :
On-Highway Service Sales Responsibilities
- Participate in the hiring, and ongoing performance evaluations of the Sales team members at each location.
- Train and supervise a team of outside Service sales representatives to ensure a unified sales force.
- Establish and track clear sales objectives and work with team members to achieve goals.
- Create a distinct sales process and marketing strategies for outside Service sales personnel to follow.
- Maintain and expand customer base by counseling sales team, building and maintaining rapport with key customers, and identifying new customer opportunities.
- Educate sales staff by providing product and strategic training opportunities.
- Maintain a current understanding of the competitive landscape of each market together with the specific capabilities of our stores by market.
- Coordinate with local managers to identify opportunities and execute.
- Engage Service Managers to create and execute on specific Service offering strategies necessary to achieve growth.
- Work with local Service Managers to provide inside sales training and execute on sales growth strategies.
- Review Service Department On-Highway sales reporting information with the Service Managers to identify opportunities and issues regarding performance against goals and budget.
- Work with the Marketing Department to create effective Service marketing pieces and specials.
