About the Role:
This position offers an exciting opportunity to represent premium equipment brands serving the agricultural and construction industries, with additional opportunities in aggregate and forestry sectors. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of equipment applications, financing options, and aftermarket support to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with farmers, contractors, site developers, and forestry/logging professionals.
- Sell and promote a wide range of new and used equipment, including tractors, skid steers, dozers, excavators, loaders, and other heavy machinery.
- Identify customer needs and provide tailored equipment solutions, including attachments and leasing options.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including parts, service, and finance, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Attend industry events, equipment demos, and trade shows to expand market presence.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in heavy equipment sales, preferably in agriculture, construction, aggregate, or forestry industries.
- Strong knowledge of equipment brands, specifications, and financing options.
- Ability to develop and maintain a strong customer base through relationship-driven sales techniques.
- Self-motivated with excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Willingness to travel within a defined territory.
