EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- Applicants must have at least three (5) years of armed security (work) experience. - Candidates with military police, law enforcement, or corrections officer experience are desirable.
- Communication:Strong written and verbal communication skills are crucial for interacting with staff, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Security Knowledge:A thorough understanding of security systems, protocols, and procedures is essential, including knowledge of risk assessment, emergency response, and security technologies.
- Crisis Management:You'll need to be able to handle and de-escalate potentially volatile situations calmly and efficiently.
- Training and Development:You may be responsible for training new security personnel, so the ability to effectively train and mentor others is important.
- Problem-Solving:You'll need to be able to identify and resolve security issues or problems that arise on site.
- Attention to Detail:Security is a detail-oriented job, so you must be able to pay close attention to detail and ensure that all security measures are in place.
- Flexibility and Adaptability:Security situations can change rapidly, so you need to be able to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 21 years of age
- Must be US citizen
- Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Clean credit and criminal history.
- Must pass standard Physical Agility Test
- Able to pass a physical exam/drug screen and a federal background investigation.
- Speak and be literate in English to the extent of writing, reading and understanding printed regulations, orders, instructions, etc.
- Must be flexible to work varying hours and shifts to include weekends
