What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Security Administrator position at T5 Data Centers?
The Network Administrator will administer and oversee the implementation organization and troubleshooting of the network hardware and maintain the organizations network systems.
Responsibilities :
- Implementing maintaining and overseeing the security of networks systems and data
- Developing and enforcing the companys security policies and procedures
- Identifying and mitigating potential security risks and vulnerabilities
- Performing regular audits to ensure that systems and networks are operating securely
- Providing training and guidance to staff on information security best practices
- Managing user access control and authentication
- Responding to security breaches and incidents and conducting thorough investigations into what occurred
- Keeping uptodate with the latest security trends threats and control measures
- Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards for information security
- Designing and implementing business continuity and disaster recovery plans
- Monitors the assigned network ensuring optimal function and minimal downtime.
- Monitors and analyzes network load including traffic and utilization trends.
- Ensures networks are protected from physical harm viruses unauthorized users and damage to data by developing and monitoring security procedures or collaborating with network security staff.
- Drafts checklists processes and support trees and knowledge bases for help desk and other support staff.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Adherent to all Federal and Local Safety laws
- Follow T5 data center corporate policies and procedures
- All other duties consistent with your role as you may be assigned by T5FM management
