About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our team in Burnet, TX. As an Industrial Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of industrial machinery and equipment in our manufacturing plant. Your main goal will be to minimize downtime and maximize productivity by performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. You will work closely with other members of the maintenance team to ensure that all equipment is running smoothly and efficiently.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Industrial Mechanic
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
- Ability to perform medium to heavy physical labor
- Experience with industrial machinery and equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with industrial electrical maintenance
- Experience with conveyor systems and conveyor belt maintenance
- Experience with welding and fabrication
- Experience with preventive maintenance
Responsibilities:
- Performing regular maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with machinery and equipment
- Performing repairs on machinery and equipment as needed
- Collaborating with other members of the maintenance team to ensure efficient operation of the plant
