Job Description
1,400-$1,800 a week. This is percentage position - 27% of the line haul. 1 round is usually about $472 - needs to be a minimum of 3 rounds per week. Round robin (most of the time)
MUST BE ON TIME.
Bring steel up to customer and bring back scrap / crush cars back to Midlothian. Most of the time, it is a drop / hook. some loads do need to be tarped depending on the customer
Driving Responsibilities
- Transporting finished goods and / or raw materials
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and light preventative maintenance as needed
- Comply with all commercial motor vehicle regulations as well as company policies and procedures
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Report defects, accidents or violations
- Class A CDL required
