Job Description
Inventory Control Manager :
Ensures adequate inventory of materials and products in accordance with inventory cycles and organizational philosophy. Conducts daily inventory analysis to solve inventory problems. Develops and implements inventory control procedures. Coordinates and manages daily physical cycle counts. Trains and manages an inventory team. Familiar with a variety of the warehousing concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work the cycle count team. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. MS Excel, MS Access, EDI experience required.
Managing all inventory control related activities.
Manage cycle count program for multiple plants to ensure API exemption
Ensure compliance with Cycle count policy and API exemption requirements
Work directly with customer / plants to reconcile inventory
Manage day-to-day activities of cycle counters. Hiring, training, mentoring, and developing inventory staff
Analyze / report cycle count discrepancies Ensure accurate inventory discrepancy resolution
Analyze data to provide operations insight into areas for improvement
Ensure abnormal material issues are addressed in a timely manner
Provide routine management information on inventory performance
Responsible for development, implementation and adherence to warehouse inventory management best practices
Ensure materials are ready and available for production as and when required
Meet with operations to review discrepancies help develop action items to prevent future issues
Write and maintain accurate written procedures for all main inventory control processes and functions
Prepare & send end of month reports
Ensure accurate inventory discrepancy resolution
Manage control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed and resolved
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Management or other related fields is preferred
3-5 years working in inventory management
Knowledge of quality management systems
ISO 9001 : 2000 certification
Knowledge of warehouse systems
2-3 years working in inventory management
2-3 years supervisory experience
