Job Description
Warehouse administrators oversee the management of stock within an organization and are mostly on the computer. This includes receiving, issuing and dispatching stock, and handling communication between freight companies and warehouse customers. Warehouse administrators are responsible for the data entry and inventory of all stock.
Support quality processes at Southern Indiana Logistic Centre (SILC) and Seymour Engineering Manufacturing Interface (SEMI). Collaborate closely with Operations and Quality Managers to identify and implement improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Support daily quality processes to ensure a dependable and efficient material flow at SILC.
Perform daily CQMS data entry for non-conformance material and product at SILC.
Assist in managing daily non-conformance material events.
Effectively segregate and coordinate non-conformance material on both MMS and Oracle information systems.
Assist, support, and coordinate quality sorts at SILC, ensuring product integrity and inventory control.
Provide non-conformance information promptly to business stakeholders during Voice of the Customer (VOC) meetings.
Inform and/or escalate quality issues or concerns regarding operations/processes at SILC.
Assist, support, and contribute to operations, A3s, and continuous improvement projects.
Review, validate, and update quality processes at SILC with business stakeholders.
Support and assist internal audits at SILC, maintaining folders and document storage in the correct location.
Support and assist any other initiative or activity at SILC as approved by your direct supervisor.
Manage and coach 3PL personnel on non-conformance material processes and requirements.
Promote a safe and quality-driven work environment at SILC.
Work with the supervisor to maintain document control and ensure compliance with ISO requirements.
Qualifications
- Admin experience preferably in Quality / Warehousing
- Dependable and detail oriented
- Position will be working 6:30am to 3pm with potential of overtime.
