An optometry office is looking for a full time optometric assistant/technician. Experience in the field of Optometry or Ophthalmology is welcome but we will consider all applications. We will also provide training. This opening is for a full time Optometric Assistant/Receptionist with the potential for part time if needed. Candidate should be enthusiastic, dedicated, reliable, and have good communication skills. Good people skills is important. Organization and multitasking skills are also required. Primary duties include receptionist work such as answering phone calls, making appointments, preliminary testing (Auto-refractor, tonometry, lensometry, VAs, etc), taking medical histories, maintaining efficient patient flow, and Contact Lens training. Our office operates in a professional and customer-focused manner. We are located in the Arlington area by the Parks Mall.
