Job Description
Diesel Mechanics (class A or B) maintains off-road Mack trucks and service vehicles around the mill site so our trucks can function safely and operate at top performance. Our Mechanics need to be versatile and have a working knowledge of electronic engines and be willing to lead others. Required : 2-5 years of vehicle maintenance experience
Responsibilities :
- Knowledge of diesel engines (Freightliner / Mack)
- Must have their own tools
- Experience in preventative maintenance
- Diagnostic skills
- Change tires
- Order parts
- Operate the vehicles when needed
- Experience with engine maintenance; lube, oil, and filter
- Experience with electronic engines
- Familiarity with spring and air suspension systems
- Familiarity with hydraulic systems
- Familiarity with air brake systems
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Qualifications
This position is M-F 40 hours a week from 7am-3 : 30pm. As a full-time employee, you are eligible for all benefits, including Health, dental and vision.
