What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Program Manager position at Ta Systems Inc?

SUMMARY
The Junior Program Manager will coordinate and direct long-term or high-profile projects for the company from inception or final product or outcome.


 IN THIS ROLE, THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL

  • Coordination of kick-off and review meetings
  • Responsible for machine specifications and feasibility
  • Coordinate design approvals
  • Create and maintain project folder and timelines
  • Develop and update Open Issues weekly
  • Review designs for customer expectation, manufacturability, and/or cost savings ideas
  • Communicate project information for customers and internal resources
    1. Accurately communicate correspondences
    2. Be concise and clear
  • Tracking and approval of long-lead purchased items
  • Release of integration kit to build
  • Identification and notification of launch teams
  • Preparation of customer quotations for revisions and/or assigned projects
    1. Authorized to submit quotes less than or equal to $2,500
  • Documenting revisions internally
  • Initiation of the Machine Sign off Procedure
  • Coordination of Customer Approval packages
  • Develops recommended spare parts list
  • Participates in post machine shipment follow-up
  • Responsible for controlling and maintaining appropriate records of customer property
  • Responsible for compliance within QMS
  • Any additional duties assigned by management

 
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS
Any combination of education and/or experience providing the required skills and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered. Typical qualifications would be:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, preferred 
  • 1 – 4 years’ experience in project management or related
  • 1 – 4 years’ experience in program management, engineering or similar
