Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain food safety standards by adhering to sanitation guidelines and ensuring the cleanliness of work areas.
- Assist in the kitchen with food preparation and cooking as needed, following recipes and safety protocols.
- Utilize OpenTable for managing reservations and seating arrangements effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and communication.
- Engage in sales activities by promoting menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Ensure all areas are sanitized regularly, including dining areas, kitchens, and restrooms.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential; certification is a bonus.
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are necessary for effective guest interactions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
