Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associates / Cashiers to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently handling transactions. You will play a key role in ensuring a positive shopping experience and maintaining the overall appearance of the store.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
- Process customer transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to effectively sell and upsell items.
- Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and register operations.
- Stock shelves and ensure merchandise is displayed neatly and organized.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required.
- Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
- Proficiency in basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math applications.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash registers is advantageous.
- Experience in supervising or training new employees is beneficial.
