Overview
We are seeking skilled Diesel Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and repairing diesel engines, particularly in tractor-trailer and industrial equipment. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is committed to providing high-quality service and ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including but not limited to brake repair, tire service, and equipment repair.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Conduct inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems as necessary.
- Operate forklifts and other machinery safely while performing repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or Mechanic with hands-on experience in repairing diesel engines.
- Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery is a plus.
- Experience in welding is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of industrial equipment maintenance and repair practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
