Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will handle transactions, assist with product inquiries, and maintain a welcoming environment in our retail space.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for processing transactions.
• Handle cash and credit card payments accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Stock shelves and maintain product displays to ensure a neat and organized store appearance.
• Communicate effectively with customers to provide information about products and services.
• Assist in upselling products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
• Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Experience with cash handling and familiarity with POS systems.
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Ability to stock merchandise efficiently while maintaining organization.
• Enhancing communication with customers.
• Knowledge of retail math concepts is beneficial for inventory management.
• Skills in upselling products to maximize sales opportunities.
