Seeking a ServiceNow Web Application Developer to assist in developing front-end web applications within the ServiceNow low/no-code environment to support business processes. The role also includes DevOps responsibilities such as platform administration, performance tuning, and CI/CD implementation.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, develop, apply, and support complex enterprise projects.
- Evaluate customer requirements and provide effective solutions.
- Interface with various departments, consult with stakeholders, and resolve system-related issues for current and future enhancements to Client’s systems.
- Participate in problem resolution related to system design and review.
- Recommend approval of functional and technical design documents and oversee the implementation of system updates and enhancements.
- Analyze and evaluate system changes to determine feasibility, alternative solutions, and backup procedures.
- Develop new systems, upgrades, and enhancements while ensuring compliance with approved standards.
- Perform platform administration duties, including:
- Patching, performance tuning, and monitoring.
- Active Directory (AD) integration on Windows, Linux, and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, SGP).
- Implement CI/CD technologies using tools such as:
- Bamboo, Git, Octopus, Docker, PowerShell (Sh), Kubernetes.
- Implement application logging and monitoring.
Selection CriteriaEducation:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related IT discipline.
Experience:
- Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proficiency in ServiceNow for front-end web application development.
- Strong back-end development experience, including:
- C#, .NET Core, NUnit, AWS, Azure, SQL/Oracle.
- Familiarity with software development and project management methodologies.
- Knowledge of evaluation, selection, development, testing, integration, and troubleshooting for software and hardware systems.
- Experience with multi-tiered applications, including:
- Web services, APIs, clustered environments, database servers, application servers, report servers.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment, including JIRA, Confluence, and GIT.
