Position: Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Menasha, WI (Onsite)
Tools:
- Must be experienced with design tool Capital Harness (CHS/XC).
Skills:
- AutoCAD & Catia-V5, Capitol Harness Logic/XC &/or Mentor graphics required
- Hands on Experience in Electrical harness modeling in CATIA V5 - Electrical harness Routing (EHI) and Electrical Fitting installation
- Analyze and create Electrical designs in 3D models using Schematic drawings
- Passenger Aircraft electrical system design experience.
- Wire Bundle calculation
- Knowledge about selection of components, connectors, wire sizes & Conduits
- Design considerations for type of protections required while routing wire harnesses.
- Able to define: Branching, bend radius, colors requirement per industry standards.
- Hands on experience in designing of supporting brackets for the installation of wire harnesses using Sheetmetal/ part module in Catia - V5
- Experienced in applying GD&T and perform Tol. Stack up
- Maintains Aerospace Industry related and applicable documents
