Job Summary
Entry Level to Solution Heat Treat Operation
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Completes reports and forms at the tailstock.
- Assist at the stretcher by lining up loads and carry around.
- Operates rollers at the tailstock.
- Ensures solution heat treat temperature and proper percent on stretching parts is maintained.
- Maintains quench by proper nozzle settings, run out speed, die history review and setting up new dies, daily inspection, running water cooling circuit.
- Checks oil levels and reports leaks to the supervisor.
- Operates overhead crane.
- Maintains a professional communication with supervisors and co-workers to insure efficient and safety work operations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Follows safe work procedures.
- Up to one month experience or training. On the job training for this position.
- Minimum 6 months manufacturing experience

- Read and understand job sheets, work instructions and route tags.
- Utilize applicable measuring equipment, work instructions and control plans.
- Demonstrate ability to set up and operate equipment without supervision.
- Demonstrate ability to run equipment without breakdown and maintain productivity based on historical run times.
- Demonstrate ability to produce defect-free parts.
- Demonstrate ability to complete all applicable paperwork associated with this job title.
- Individual is familiar with lockout/tagout and other safety related issues associated with this job title.
- Individual is familiar with the following procedures:
