What are the responsibilities and job description for the Control Panel Assembler position at Tabet Manufacturing Co.?
Tabet Manufacturing Co. is seeking to fill the position of Control Panel Assembler. The ideal candidate should have 2 years of relevant experience working in a control panel assembly environment. This position will require a highly energetic, fully engaged, forward thinking individual to work with various disciplines within the facility. We are seeking to fill first positions. Base hours for first shift is 6:00AM - 2:30PM Monday - Friday. Some overtime may be required. Attendance during the scheduled work hours is critical. Due to the type of work the candidate must be a US citizen.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Perform control panel assembly operations using basic hand tools and test equipment following step by step work instructions.
· Perform cable build using wire strippers/snippers, heat guns, crimpers, pull testing, etc. Must be able to accurately perform measurements using both standard and metric system.
· Troubleshoot electrical problems using wiring schematics, deficiencies and concerns in supplied and internally manufactured materials.
· Report progress and discrepancies to Assembly Supervisor.
· Support and participate in training and cross-training.
Minimum Qualifications:
- One (1) year of experience assembling equipment in a production manufacturing environment with a High School Diploma/general education degree (GED) required.
- Ability to work with hand tools and having mechanical aptitude is a must.
- J-STD-001 Certification (soldering) and IPC-620 Technician Certification is a plus.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a team is necessary.
