About us
Table 33 has recently opened a brand new space in the historic Dayton Arcade.
We are looking for someone with a rich experience in scratch production and presentation of desserts, cookies, sweet and savory pastries and breads who can operate all machinery and equipment involved in production. Strong organizational and communication skills. Eager to assist in other areas of the operation and collaborate with the team and leadership in driving menu and opportunity. The ability to contribute creatively to the culture, core values and flow of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including biscuits, pastries, cakes, and cookies
- Follow recipes and measurements accurately to ensure consistency in product quality
- Mix ingredients and knead dough by hand or using mixers and other baking equipment
- Monitor baking process and adjust temperatures and cooking times as needed
- Present baked goods in an appealing manner
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate baking schedules and fulfill orders
- Stay updated on current baking trends and techniques
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a baker in a restaurant or catering setting
- Knowledge of different baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent time management skills
- Creativity and artistic skills for decorating baked goods
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
