What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Host position at Table Mountain Inn?
Locally owned and operated, Table Mountain Grill & Cantina, is actively seeking Hosts to join the team in Golden. This Southwestern restaurant is located inside the boutique hotel Table Mountain Inn.
The right candidates must be team players that have a passion for quality product, exceptional service, ability to multi-task, and enjoy completing different projects each day. Host/Hostess are responsible for assisting the team to deliver outstanding guest service, hospitality, and financial profitability.
Pay starting at $14 per hour

As a Host you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards (flexible schedule accommodations including working holidays and weekends are required):
- Warmly welcome guests and lead them to their tables
- Present yourself professionally and appropriately
- Assist servers by obtaining water for guests
- Let servers and bartenders know guests have arrived in their sections
- Answer the restaurant phone and assist with reservation requests
- Direct large party and/or private dining reservation requests to the appropriate team members or managers
- Provide exceptional customer service while attending to guests
- Remove necessary plates and glasses from bar or tables during a guest’s experience
- Provide silverware and accoutrements as needed or requested
- Keep station(s) clean and organized during your shift
- Perform station opening and/or closing duties
- Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving guest complaints
Qualifications:

- 1 years of customer service experience
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Understand food and beverage specifications and dietary restrictions
- Leadership, self-discipline, initiative, team player, integrity
- Ability to multi-task while keeping up with new projects each day
- Focus on guest service and satisfaction
- Creative and efficient problem solving
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Create and maintain a positive working relationship with all departments, front and back of house
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Understand the restaurant’s operations
- Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
