Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team. The Restaurant Assistant Manager will assist in overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient and smooth operations, and the successful execution of our business objectives. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the food service industry, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for providing outstanding dining experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in organizing and coordinating daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, shift scheduling, and staff management.
• Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to develop and implement strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and sanitary restaurant environment.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising restaurant staff, including servers, host / hostess, and kitchen staff.
• Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and implement performance improvement plans when necessary.
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels, ordering supplies, and managing food and beverage costs.
• Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager on menu planning, new dish development, and any changes to the restaurant's offerings.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and make recommendations for improvements in service, operations, and profitability.
